Yale’s Matt Amodio keeps ‘Jeopardy!’ win streak alive with $35K victory – New Haven Register
As the first week of the 38th season “Jeopardy!” finishes, Yale University Ph.D. student Matthew Amodio defended his crown and carried on his quiz show conquest to a 22nd consecutive game won, tallying a $35,400 victory. The artificial intelligence student previously told Hearst Connecticut that he’s still getting used to all the attention he’s received during his time on the show.
“I have been very uncomfortable!” he said in an email of his newfound fame. “I’m an introverted person at heart, and maybe over enough time I would get used to this amount of attention, but that time has certainly not come yet. I still get chills when I see an article written about me. Me? Me, me?”
